Project vision
SEND - Digital Notification Service (also known as the Digital Notification Platform) was created to innovate the communication between the State and citizens, exploiting the opportunities offered by digital technology to improve the possibilities of receiving, managing, checking and storing communications with legal value received by entities. In particular, it aims to simplify the process of notifying administrative acts to citizens and businesses, giving them new opportunities to exercise their rights and fulfill their duties.
Advantages
FOR CITIZENS
Receiving notifications digitally means ensuring freedom, convenience and inclusiveness. Citizens will be able to access the served document directly from their devices, at any place and time, through different channels:from their public certified email address (PEC) or by receiving a courtesy notification on the IO app, via an email or text message. This will reduce delivery time, save on service costs, and enable the user to download and file the documents digitally, making a sustainable choice for the environment as well. For those, however, who would like to continue to rely on traditional methods of notification and receipt, the platform will ensure that communications are also sent in paper format.

SEND - Digital Notification Service offers public entities a more efficient and secure system for sending communications, relieving administrations from managing the entire notification process. All the sending entities have to do is deposit the document to be notified on the platform, which will manage its transmission, sending it either digitally or by analogue means. With SEND, the uncertainty that surrounds recipient traceability decreases and management time and costs are reduced.
